Assignment: Send URLs of three websites that you like and you think work well to the class list. Do this sooner rather than later. Do not send the same URLs that someone has already sent. Explain why you like them, and why you think they work well.
Sent to CommLab class listserv on October 3, 2002:

Here are my three URLs:

1. 100% Pure NZ: A beautiful country -- a beautiful website. Both are clean and well-organized with stunning views and well worth a visit before next Tuesday's class.

=> Count the sheep at:
http://www.purenz.com

2. Brunching Shuttlecocks: Too often Web content is overshadowed by glitzy graphics and bells and whistles. This humor site is spare but uses its basic HTML to hilarious effect.

=> Take quizzes you'll love to fail at:
http://www.brunching.com/pornorpony.html
http://www.brunching.com/metalortrek.html

And of course 3. BaseballLibrary.com: I don't know who built or maintains this site (ahem) but I do think it does a good job of presenting a large amount of historical information in a number of different ways. I also think its structure is intuitive and unobtrusive, letting the information shine on its own.

Feel free to disagree after visiting:
